Windsor Heights Apartments

"Moved into a dirty unit that wasn’t cleaned, stained carpets and burnt out bulbs left and right. Upon inspection found all the smoke detectors with no batteries in them and expired as of 2017. It’s 2025 They do not check these things but say they do The “gym” has no functional equipment and maybe two weights. Pool is always full of people that don’t live there and residents leave dog poop all over the place. After renting since 18 years old this is by far the lowest quality living I’ve experienced Extended lease two months and was charged 1400+ per month. For a tiny ghetto one bedroom apt During move out I was told everything looks good but yet had no deposit refunded"

"I lived at Windsor Heights for just under two years. Here is my take: Pros - Good communication from property manager - Maintenance generally fixes problems in a timely manner - Appartment buildings are well maintained Cons - Roof gutters would leak/drip water onto the concrete landing and steps at the entrance to my building. This creates a big slipping hazard during the winter and spring. Maintenance does make icemelt available at the entrance. - I had some issues with ants and cockroaches while I lived here. Windsor Heights did make an effort to deal with the pests. However, they were rather unsuccessful in getting rid of the cockroaches. I ended up having to do a lot of the extermination myself unfortunately. Overall, I had a good experience here. I would recommend Windsor Heights to anyone who wants a cheaper place to live."

"Living at Windsor Heights has been a great experience for us. We have always gotten quick responses for questions and work orders completed quickly as well. Close to the interstate and in a nice neighborhood. Our place is spacious and affordable.There are a few things that could be updated or changed but they are small and the cats with any apartment complex you live at. Overall I think it’s a quiet and safe place to live. Glad we found it!"

"The first apartment I lived in at Windsor Heights had a leak and it rained in there for 1.5 years before they fixed it. I had a chronic cough due to mold there from the rain. The pool is always full of people that don't live there. Parties. There is nothing you could do as it is private property. Non smoking apartment but people still smoke there. Tons of unleashed dogs there walking. The community room gets rented out and the music blares for hours on end. The secured building doors remained unsecured when the community room was rented out. The maintenance man Brian isn't nice or professional! Enjoy your stay!!!!"

"I've lived at Windsor Heights for over 3 years, just started my 4th. I love the quiet neighborhood, location, and easy access to the interstate and most nearby grocery/shopping. JD is great and easy to talk to about anything going on. Rarely has an apartment felt more like a home."
