"Definitely caught them breaking renters law for security deposit return. SD law says they either return your deposit or supply an itemized deduction receipt within 14 days or they are required to return the whole deposit plus punitive damages. They waited 14 days and sent an email saying a list would be sent soon. Did not provide an itemized list as law requires or it would have been legal. When I bought this up a few weeks after we moved out the woman in the leasing office insisted I didn't know the law and that they were allowed 45 days. In fact it's the opposite; that the tenant is allowed 45 days to request an itemized list if they don't provide one. SD is considering changing the law from 14 to 21 days and it reminded me to spread the word about this little scam they run. They told me not to fix any picture frame holes as they would be small enough to do for free then charged for it anyways, apartment was spotless and still only walked away with half. I wonder how many people LLOYD have done this to, might make a good class action. Interesting results if you google "how long to get lloyd security deposit back"."

"Overall a great place to live. The property management team is great, the clubhouse has a fitness center and Starbucks coffee machine that's free during business hours. Our unit is nice, there are some weird layout choices but that was on the architect I suppose. My biggest complaint is that the air conditioning unit is on our balcony and it takes up a lot of space. Everything else is good."
