The Rowe on 57th Street

"I've had an amazing experience living at the Rowe for the last 2 years. From the moment my Wife and I toured the property, the property manager Cody was welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful. The leasing process was smooth, and He made sure all my questions were answered. The apartments themselves are modern, spacious, and well-maintained. We love the updated appliances and the floor plan. The complex is quiet, but families do live here so some noise is to be expected. Pet friendly with plenty of green space for walking or relaxing. Maintenance is top-notch and always quick to respond to any requests. The location is also fantastic, with easy access to shopping, dining, and major roads while still feeling peaceful and safe. I highly recommend the Rowe to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to live in Sioux Falls!"

"Posting anonymously Don't expect to get any of your deposit back, they charge $250 cleaning fee and a $150 carpet cleaning fee, at that point Don't worry about cleaning it yourself have them do it, don't stress yourself out as much as I did. Also not to mention the constant parties that would go untill 3am at least 2 to 3 times a week. And not to mention the 2nd month we lived in the building our sliding door shatterd it took them 3 months with constant calls and them putting in multiple work orders to get the widow fixed, which made us not have access to a part of our unit, the best they could give us was a $100 visa gift card."

"I usually try to be a very upbeat person and have a positive outlook on life. However, I had a pretty rough experience with the Rowe. First, we needed an air filter replaced but all the maintenance tech did was remove the filter. We called numerous time to get that replaced but were ignored each time. During the winter months you can feel a cold draft through the cheap builders grade windows causing a substantial rise in the energy bill. The walls are paper thin so I was often kept up at nights by neighbors screaming at all hours. Another issue I had was the way they staggered utility payments. It was always 2 months behind so at the end of your lease you are responsible for double payment. Lastly, the property managers do not stick to their word and will make residents foot the bill for their cheaply built apartments. During the initial walk through I was told we would not be responsible for any of the repairs that would be needed once we moved out because of builder defect. However, after moving out I received a bill to replace the vinyl flooring. This is frustrating because 14 months earlier I was told I would not have to pay for new flooring because it was a defect in almost every other unit. I called Thornton Flooring and was told they have done replacement work for almost every unit at the Rowe. If you don’t want to get stuck with a bill replacing cheap builders grade material I highly advise not staying at The Rowe on 57th or any Lloyd Properties. If you do choose to live at The Rowe take pictures and document everything because you’ll often be ignored by maintenance and be left to foot the bill for anything that goes wrong."
