"I love living at Minnesota Ave apartments! The building has good security and the new manager Zoe always makes sure everything is clean. I have seen her even staying late days to take the time to clean our building. She is nice and always make sure to say good morning and will listen truly listen to you. it also always smells so good! My neighbors are kind my apartment is great I've lived here for 4 years !"

"I have lived at the Minnesota Apartments for nearly 8 months and it is one of the absolute best places I have ever lived. The management and maintenance team goes above and beyond to make living there comfortable and welcoming. The apartment itself is HUGE and very homey. There is an awesome community room and playground for residents to use. Recently, the property has added a library residents can donate to and borrow from. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking!"

"Absolutely poor communication. I've been towed 3 times at Lloyd properties -- twice here. I will never rent from Lloyd again. These buildings may look nice, but the walls and ceilings are paper-thin. Someone slammed their door above my unit and it shook my floor. Kids have run down the stairwells at 6:30am causing my walls to shake. People will be yelling, partying, vacuuming, rearranging their apartment, nailing things in, slamming their doors, honking their horn in the parking lot (with your windows closed you can hear conversations outside, so a car honking is really loud)..... this will happen anywhere from 6am to 3am. Also be prepared to be around people who look at you funny (even though they can hardly speak English), hang around outside the entrance all the time, have kids running around constantly, and park in the middle of the alley-way where you're supposed to be able to drive. Get ready for weird things like people hawking parking spots, smoking weed in their car in the parking lot, and random loud noises (the manager told me she thinks the building is haunted because people complain all the time about random noises). The elevator's slow. I rarely could get cold water out of my faucet. The hot water in the shower lasts for about 20 minutes and isn't that hot. I mean, the only thing nice about this place is it's newer and it has central air. Also, the current manager is very nice, but Lloyd has rules rules rules for days and will almost always stick to the book and try to charge you on every little thing. The current manager (Kelsea) is very nice, though, and will work with you on things. Also be ready to smell the hot dog factory sometimes, hear the train at night sometimes, and hear a neighbor's dog howling more often than not. The fire alarms have been pulled at least 4-5 times since I've lived here, and I can't even remember how many times the cops have been here. I didn't realize it at the time, but I dreaded living here. I've lived here since it opened about 3 years ago, and it's gradually gotten worse. I know they're trying to make it better, but there's a point where there's not much more that can be done, and this place is close to that point."
