"Brand new apartments. Good security access. Clean, well laid out, well equipped, quality appliances, good storage - closet space. Nice size rooms. Main concerns were substanial entryway, making packages, carting groceries a somewhat difficult task at times & lack of access to outside. New complex, grounds undeveloped, limited playspace for kids. Busy roads & construction area under development."

"This was a brand new complex when I moved in. So much wrong but they don’t care. I’ve been without a working fridge for over 6 months. They keep saying it works. Yet the current fridge fluctuates from 25 to 44 and the freezer fluctuates from -6 to 27.9. According to Whirlpool this is unsafe. Yet Lloyd’s feels we all should accept that this is ok. However, this is the 5th fridge I’ve had in 10 months so obviously since they have addressed it, we all know they know it is not good. And it’s not just my fridge, it’s nearly all of them in the building and they know that also, though they deny it.
There have been many other things here like snow removal issues, air leaks everywhere, lots of people smoking stuff though a non-smoking facility and my list goes on. However, because I “complain” and expect things to work, they have been trying to get me to move out since my 2nd month here and they are not renewing my lease. They keep telling me I need to move since I’m so unhappy here. I’m only unhappy here because I have no refrigerator I can use as I already lost over $500 in groceries to a fridge they say works. I couldn’t breathe in my own apartment till finally this month, etc.
I guess moral is don’t move here if you expect things to work right and expect the place you live to hold up to their end of the lease.
Their response is true they did replace the fridge several times as I stated above. But replacing the fridge did not fix the problem, which tells me there is a bigger problem that needs to be dug into to get to the root of it. They have all got the same issue. I'm adding photos from right now today. The thermometers in mine were reset on Friday, 3 days ago. Do your research and determine if you want to store your food in these. And you know, I've said to all Lloyd's employees and all 4 repairmen that they can take it home and use it, yet not a single one has agreed that they would be willing to do that or have no problem using one like it. However, one did respond that he could bring me an old green fridge to use and both times I told him that would be great. I'm still waiting, lol.
In regards to their response of doing everything they can, that is so untrue. When they try to convince a person that a freezer is working fine at temps above 20 and then refuse to renew your lease because you are frustrated that you've been without a fridge for 8 months seems wrong to me. But they get by with it because no one stands up to them. So sad. None of them have ever agreed that they would take this fridge and use it for their homes. Wonder why? Ah, it's not good enough for them, but it is for me!!! Something is wrong with that picture. There have been so many things here that they have done that were very wrong and some even illegal but good luck finding someone to fight against them despite their wrong doing. But I do have a huge file, paper trail and I've recorded nearly every conversation so I can still pursue this on my own. It's sad when others are having same issues but won't report things cause they see what I've gone through and they say they can't risk being put out on the street so they just put up with stuff that don't work right and management that doesn't care and treats people with such disrepect. I've literally been screamed and yelled at by the apartment manager as well as two people out of the corporate office. Sad, Then the only one that I thought was going to help had food safety training in her past and first time we met agreed the temps were not safe but when be fridge did same thing she decided it was working fine. Really???
I guess lesson here for you is don't rent from Lloyd's unless you are desperate. Then keep me record of everything yourself and in South Dakota, record every conversation for proof of what was said and how. Then, pray for those that persecute you! It is only by God's grace I made it here these past 11 months."
